1. How current is this list? Twice a year, I post to women's studies and women's center electronic discussion groups asking for updates and additions. I also make changes, updates, additions as they trickle in throughout the year. About once a year, somebody who uses the list mails via a rate which guarantees returns of undeliverables, and they update me on any that were returned. The last time someone used the list this way was fall of 2006, and I only received 4 undeliverables (which I've since corrected.) So it's a pretty clean list.
2. Can I purchase/rent the list in some electronic format? Sorry, no. I've been gathering and updating this data on a succession of Macs for over 25 years and trust me... I'm the only one who could make sense of my database! The National Women's
Studies Association also has lists available, and will rent an Excel spreadsheet. I'm not personally familiar with their lists so I don't know how they're compiled or maintained, nor what's included since they don't post an online listing. My mailing labels include all the addresses listed FREE at my Women's Studies page and the Women's Resource Center page.
3. Can I get smaller or shorter labels? I want to send post cards. The only size available is 1" x 4". The department and university names and addresses are quite lengthy, and just won't fit legibly on anything smaller.
